US Highway 79 North
This four-lane highway (five-lanes in the city of Paris)
provides access to Paris Landing. The highway becomes
two lanes after Kentucky Lake. It runs to Dover and
Clarksville, TN, connecting to Interstate 24, and
eventually to Russellville, KY.
US Highway 79 South
This new four-lane highway
connects the town of Henry to Paris. Heading
south, it travels through McKenzie, TN and on to Jackson
and Memphis.
US Highway 641 North
This straight two-lane highway connects Murray, KY and
Paris. Heading north from Murray, the road becomes four
lanes and intersects with the limited-access Purchase
Parkway, which intersects to Interstate 24 near Kentucky
Dam.
US Highway 641 South
Another excellent two-lane highway, US 641 South
connects Camden, TN with Paris. Heading south from
Camden about 15 miles, US 641 ends at Interstate 40.
The entire US 641 route is a vital link from Interstate
24 to Interstate 40.
Tennessee 54 West
This two-lane highway is the connection for Dresden, TN
and Paris. The road intersects with limited-access
Tennessee 22 and runs west to Martin and Union City, TN.
Tennessee 69 North
Becoming Kentucky 97 at the state line, this highway
connects Paris with Mayfield, KY.
Tennessee 119
This highway begins at Paris Landing on Kentucky Lake
and travels north to Murray. Once the road crosses the
Kentucky border, it becomes Kentucky 121 and runs to
Murray, Mayfield, and eventually to Wickliffe, KY at the
Mississippi River.
Tennessee 140
Tennessee 140 follows the northern and western perimeter
of Henry County. Beginning at US 79 North near Paris
Landing, the road travels west to Puryear and on to
Cottage Grove. The road then turns south to Como and
heads on to McKenzie, TN.
Tennessee 218
This two-lane highway acts as a southern bypass for
Paris and US 79. |
